topic Need help printing holographic adhesive for TS3720 in Desktop Inkjet Printers

I just got the TS3720 for a project. I thought I could use it to print on holographic adhesive sheets but it smears even when I leave it to dry for a bit. I've looked around on fixing this issue but everyone says to change the setting to Glossy photo paper but when I change to that setting, it tells me that it has the wrong setting for the paper and cannot print. I've even changed the size to A4 and it still gives me the same error message.

I have my quality set to 'High' and it's set to 'Plain paper' since that's all I can use.

The TS3720 will not print 8x10 photos or high quality on Glossy paper, that is why I replaced my TS3722 because it has the same limitations. You may be able to print holographic 5x7s on glossy using high quality and borderless (or combo of) but not anything larger than that.

Thank you for that reply! Which printer did you get and if it was budget friendly ($100) ?

I bought the Canon Pixma 3620, an older model of Canon's but still in production for now. I was lucky to get it on a very good sale from Amazon for 70 percent off. That sale is long gone, but you can still get a photo printer all in one that will print 8x10 borderless on glossy paper.

I think the Canon Pixma TS6520 should work and it is on Amazon for 79 dollars right now, almost at half price, sold and shipped by them, which is good. The Pixma TS4320 will do the same on sale at 59 dollars (now that is a very good price) at it is also on Amazon sold and shipped by them. These two printers are very much alike except the 6520 has a control panel digital screen which I do not have but it can be helpful when troubleshooting and doing maintenance.

Awesome, thank you so much for this information. You have no idea how much trouble it was to try to figure out the problem for my printer and see if I could somehow override the printer settings.
