    <description>&lt;P&gt;I was able to scan from the Printer.&amp;nbsp; It did install a greyed out printer icon that when clicked tries to take me to the Microsoft Store and fails, just like before.&amp;nbsp; The way this is functioning it appears that the only way to get the appropriate icons is through the Microsoft Store which will not install for me. I do have a Cannon folder, with .dlls so that's great but there are no printer icons.&amp;nbsp; The Scan utility came up but too is greyed out but appears to have the functions.&amp;nbsp; Hopefully a printer utility will show up.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>PIXMA TR4720 Unable to scan via USB</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have my&amp;nbsp;PIXMA TR4720 Printer setup via USB. I am unable to scan.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1. I select the Scan icon on the printer. The printer shows Scan Mode&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2. Load the document into either the Document Feeder or Glass.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;3. Select Start Black to start the scan.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;4. The printer display shows: "Please Wait Momentarily", stays there for maybe 45 secs and the goes back to Scan Mode without doing anything.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;What am I missing?&amp;nbsp; Can you scan to the computer via USB?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Greetings, what operating system version and build are you using the printer with?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;What software or utilities did you install?&amp;nbsp; You can't just connect the printer using a USB cable and have it start working.&amp;nbsp; When using a USB connection, you have to install the software first and wait to connect the device until prompted to do so.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Software and drivers for the product are available here.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello, and thanks for responding to my plea for help.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I'm using Windows 11 Pro,&amp;nbsp;64-bit, Build&amp;nbsp;26200.7623 on a laptop. I &lt;STRONG&gt;DO NOT&lt;/STRONG&gt; have the PIXMA setup on wireless, just USB.Printing works beautifully with the laptop recognizing the printer.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I thought I was getting the software from the Cannon site but keep getting an error to "Try the download again". When clicking on the "Try the download again" I receive another message, "The connection was lost during download 0X80072EE2." When &lt;STRONG&gt;Retry&lt;/STRONG&gt; it get "Preparing to download, Checking the license for the device" message and then back to "Try the download again". I thought nothing was installed but there is a Canon Folder on the C drive that appears to have the software in it.&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;I then notice that the Canon Print software that is failing is from the Microsoft Store.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt; I checked the Apps from the "Start Menu" and do find a Grey Canon App there.&amp;nbsp; However, when I click that App I'm taken to the Microsoft Store to the Install routine again.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;When clicking on the Scan App in the Canon Folder on the laptop I can configure things but still can't scan from the PC or Local Scan from the Printer Window. So it "appears" the software is installed but something is a bit off.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Select downloads, Windows, Windows 11.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Scroll down the list of applications and press the load more button.&amp;nbsp; The application you need for printing and scanning is&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Print Driver and Scan Utility Installer Ver.1.04 (Windows)&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Note, based on your previous description, it sounds like you may have connected your printer to your computer out of sequence.&amp;nbsp; Microsoft attempted to install native drivers which do not provide full functionality for your product.&amp;nbsp; My recommendation is that you start over.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Remove The printer instance from the printers and scanners applet.&amp;nbsp; Unplug the USB cable.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt; important,&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;restart your computer.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Now run the print driver and scan utility installer.&amp;nbsp; Do not connect the USB cable to your printer until prompted to do so by the installer.&amp;nbsp; This should re-add the printer with the correct drivers for printing and scanning.&amp;nbsp; Please post an update with your progress.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
