Using a mac os10. Have two printers, a hp and the canon. Did not want to print to the canon and was unable to cancel the job so had to print from the canon. It is a pixma mx432

What version of Mac OS do you have? You can find this information by going to your APPLE MENU and selecting ABOUT THIS MAC.

Thanks for your help but it was a dumb thing on my part. Too embarrass to say what it was.
