What is it doing? Jamming up? Feeding paper all the way through the path?

https://youtu.be/sBs6dR3kvLU

Common Causes

Paper Loading Issues: Ensure the paper is loaded correctly. The print side should face down, and the paper guides must align with the edges of the paper.

Paper Type and Size: Check that the media type and paper size settings match the loaded paper. Using paper that is too thick or curled can also cause feeding problems.

Paper Capacity: Avoid overloading the paper tray. If using multiple sheets, align the edges and do not exceed the recommended load limit.

Hi Derrick,

I was using it yesterday to print a few pages. Things were working great and then it just stopped accepting paper. It says Paper has run out. There is paper in there. I removed all but one sheet, same error. I added 6 or so sheets, same error. I found instructions to clean the rollers using the utility provided as well as manually cleaning. Nothing seems to work.

You used the roller cleaning function in maintenance? There are posts all over the place about this problem and I don't think a "media mismatch" is the biggest cause. I did find this one forum where a user fixed the issue themselves:

You could try cleaning the rollers manually it may be worth a try.

https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/s/article/ART162678

I had a Brother printer, ten years old, that developed the same issue. I bought a new printer after multiple tries to repair it. Ironically the new one is an MG3620 which has performed flawlessly since I bought it.
