The MX 492 is 10 years old. If no error message is displayed it could be any number of things. The print head might have failed, the ink absorber might be full or an electrical component inside the device has failed.

Sounds like you've had many good years with the printer. It may be time to consider a replacement as shipping and repair would exceed the value of the device.

I would like to printemps only in black & White but when one cartridge is empty, it will not print. How could we cancel that feature and just use it in B&W
