      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;I just bought a TR8720a printer for my MAC OS desktop computer.&amp;nbsp; I have had this computer since 2011.&amp;nbsp; I cannot get my computer to connect to the printer though I have tried everything including downloading the setup and installing the software.&amp;nbsp; I can scan but I cannot print.&amp;nbsp; The printer reads that it is processing but does not print.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;MAC OS High Sierra 27" screen, version 10.13.6, year 2010.&amp;nbsp; No cable was provided so I am using the original cable provided with my MAC from 2010. When I hit print button, the printer responds but just continues to process but never prints.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Can you please confirm the model number of your device?&amp;nbsp; I don't see a TR8&lt;STRONG&gt;7&lt;/STRONG&gt;20a you referenced.&amp;nbsp; I am familiar with the &lt;STRONG&gt;TR8620a&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The TR8620a is supported under MAC OS 10.12.6 Sierra and later.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Drivers are available here:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/pixma-tr8620a#idReference%3Dsoftware-drivers" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/pixma-tr8620a#idReference%3Dsoftware-drivers&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Select Mac 10.15 Catalina OS for drivers download. &amp;lt;This is not a typo.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;These are the 2 packages which you will need.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="shadowsports_0-1765738580522.jpeg" style="width: 400px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/72073i0EAA58AA64AF9CBF/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="shadowsports_0-1765738580522.jpeg" alt="shadowsports_0-1765738580522.jpeg" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Download both and save to your desktop. Then proceed with the steps below.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Disconnect the USB cable from your Mac&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Open the printers and scanners applet and remove the printer instance using the minus key (-)&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Next open the Applications folder and uninstall (drag to trash can) &lt;STRONG&gt;all&lt;/STRONG&gt; Canon software drivers or utilities&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;important:&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt; Restart your Mac&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Now run the TR8600 Series Setup.&amp;nbsp;&lt;STRONG&gt;Do not&lt;/STRONG&gt; connect the USB cable until prompted to do so by the installer.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Now run the IJ Scanner utility lite setup.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Printing and scanning should now be available.&amp;nbsp; Please reply back with the results.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
