I've had this printer now for about a year and I have struggled from day one to get the colors to match my screen. But what annoys me the most is that the blacks are not true black and they print with a blue hue. I have tried adjusting the blacks in Photoshop to be more warm toned, but it really doesn't help much and it turns the rest of my image super yellow/warm. I have tried different color spaces and different printer profiles. None seem to help.

I'm printing on Koala glossy photo paper. I'm printing straight from Photoshop. I have my paper type set to glossy paper and high quality. I am printing in Adobe RGB color space. The closest printer profile to the right colors is Canon iP8700 series SG2/LU2. Sadly I cannot print on Canon paper because they only glossy paper they have in the size I need is 70lbs and I need something thinner for what I'm working on.

If you have any suggestions at all for me, I will try anything!! Thank you!

Does it print true black if you use the Canon paper? If so, and if you use a lot of the Koala paper, maybe you can have a custom ICC profile created.

I have not tried a Canon paper yet, but maybe I will order some just to test it out. I did notice, though, that it does print true blacks on Koala matte photo paper, so it must be an issue with the paper?

Could be. Maybe try Other Glossy Photo Paper profile.

Try setting the printer for matte paper and printing on glossy. Sometimes you can fool the printer.
