    <description>&lt;P&gt;I finally figured it out:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Username: ADMIN (allcaps)&lt;BR /&gt;Pwd: &amp;lt;From the network configuration page printout&amp;gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I started a new browser instance, went to the IP address of the printer and used these.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;The window I had open and tried numerous times wouldn't work so maybe some restriction into the software.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Starting fresh worked for me.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Phew - way to painful!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;New IP8720&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Installed and works fine.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;ADMIN password is supposed to be the serial number.&lt;BR /&gt;Yes, the 4 alpha characters are in CAPS&lt;BR /&gt;Doesn't work&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have also tried "canon" and every possible combination&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;🤷‍&lt;span class="lia-unicode-emoji" title=":male_sign:"&gt;♂️&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Chriscal1,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;With the later firmware versions, the serial number is no longer the admin password for the iP8720.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;To determine the password for your printer, please follow these steps:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1.&amp;nbsp; Turn your iP8720 on.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2.&amp;nbsp; Load a few sheets of plain paper into the the paper feed.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;3.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Please hold down the Resume button until the Power light blinks 6 times, then let it go.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The Resume button is the middle button.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;One page will print.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;On the page that printed, the Default Password will appear at the bottom of the list.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I did this and printed out the page.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Do I use NO USERNAME, Administrator, administrator, Admin, admin or somethign else&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;None of them worked using the password printed out&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;BINGO! I think the key was using IP vs what the Mac does - the Bonjour ID. First thing I did was remove the admin PWD.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
