PIXMA G6020 How can I scan multiple pages into one file?

I am using a Pixma G6020 I tried multi scan some documents I can not I click the scan in utilities The scanner will just on the one document that is place on the glass below the cover Will not feed to multi scan documents how can I get the scanner to do multi scanning?

What scanning software? The canon utility offers a choice of "next" or "Exit" when it finishes scanning a page. "Next" lets you add an additional page.

Not sure of the software I put the paper in the feeder for automatic scanning
