    <description>&lt;P&gt;Sometimes an install misses something during the process. I think this may help you. I ran into kinda the same situation when replacing a Canon printer with a new one myself. The first download did not include scanner driver. Could be yours did not either, so try this one:&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;The video shows how to install the wireless connection for your new printer if you want to connect that way. Personally I prefer USB unless connecting from a mobile device.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>PIXMA TR7020a won't scan, old printer still listed instead of new printer</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Removed my old Canon 5300 and installed a new Pixma TR 7020a on my windows computer.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Printing works even from my phone but when I tried to scan a document to my computer I got an error that there was no communication.&amp;nbsp; Searched around and found that in the scan box on the computer it lists my old&amp;nbsp; Canon 5300 as the only choice to scan.&amp;nbsp; My TR7020a is not a choice and I can not figure out how to change that.&amp;nbsp; Any help is greatly appreciated.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
