&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;The error means the waste ink absorber in the printer is full. Even if the ink absorber is successfully changed or cleaned, the ink absorber counter must be reset and the reset utility that is necessary&amp;nbsp;to reset this counter is not available to the general public and normally found only at printer service facilities.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;the printer is in its 1-year warranty, I recommend reaching out to Canon support for your warranty options. You will need to&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;A href="http://canon.us/account" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener"&gt;register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options&lt;/A&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system.
