Canon MG3600 series, such as the MG3620 has auto printing on both sides of paper and full 8x10 photos on any kind of photo paper including card stock. It is not a tank printer, which I would not want for printing photos anyway. It is available on Amazon for 79.00 dollars. I own one and find it to be an excellent printer unlike like my first Canon printer which I gave to a friend because it had no settings for an 8x10 photo or auto two sided printing. .

Using the latest Mac OS, my printer setup does not display any option for duplex printing or printing on both sides of a page. No option is there and I've run the setup program more than once.

Maybe this is not relevant, but I have an HP printer as well. That shows the option of printing on both sides in the print. window, and I run the HP printer on the same computer as I do the Canon printer. The HP gives me the option, the G3270 does not. Huh?

Hi Boatmike,

The PIXMA G3270 does not support automatic duplex printing.

Just got this printer, after recommendation from Canon customer service. Why on earth would Canon make a printer that doesn't have duplex printing. I'm am so disappointed, will try to return tomorrow, and may have to stay away from Canon printers in the future. Was looking forward to the mega tank system, but no duplex printing is a no go. Why would customer service person not point this out???? GRRRRRRRRRRRR
