      <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;I just purchased a PIXMA MX922 printer at a local store that sells used items and it appears to be in perfect condition. However when I tried to set it up using the CD that was provided it didn't complete the set up process and showed "start over" and similar messages. I have a Windows 10 computer and am hoping it can be used for this printer. What else can I do ?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I think this is a driiver problem.&amp;nbsp; I just got a new windows 11 laptop, and ran the mp68-win-mx920-1_01_ea32_2.exe driver.&amp;nbsp; It said it coulld not detect the printer, although the printer ran fine on my older laptop.&amp;nbsp; When I executed this admin command:&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;gt; Get-PnpDevice -PresentOnly | Where-Object { $_.InstanceId -match '^USB' }, &lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;the printer and fax functions were listed as active on the USB.&amp;nbsp; So why didn't the driver see it ?&amp;nbsp; Also that USB hub ran a USB disk and mouse, so USB connections are OK and the printer cable is the same one I used with the old computer.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;More info.&amp;nbsp; After the win 11 driver could not detect my 2017 PIXMA MX922, I tried the original install CD-ROM that came with it (disk created 12/20/2016). Installation proceeded to "Printer Connection phase". It said "printer detected" and that installation would take a few moments, then a few minutes later it said "Printer not detected".&amp;nbsp; Original cable and I tried restart of PC and whole setup again. Extremely frustrating.&amp;nbsp; Recall that the OS detected the printer just fine.&amp;nbsp; About to buy another printer, but it won't be Canon (really disappointed at level of support).&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;My son got the printer working by going through the "Add Device" menu instead of trying to download from Canon. I did not follow it all, but it looks like the printer was identified and associated wit a driver that way. Whew.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
