      <title>PIXMA TS6420a: Unable to register product</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I purchased a Canon&amp;nbsp;PIXMA TS6420a from Best Buy (in-store) in Sterling, VA, USA on March 14, 2025.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;After setting up the product, I am unable to register it. I am getting the message:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="lia-indent-padding-left-30px"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;The serial number you have entered is invalid for one or more of the following reasons:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="lia-indent-padding-left-30px"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;1) The serial number does not match the product you have selected (FCC ID which starts with “AZD” is often mistaken for serial number.)&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="lia-indent-padding-left-30px"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;2) The serial number entered indicates this product was not intended for sale in the United States and is ineligible for registration and support in the U.S.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P class="lia-indent-padding-left-30px"&gt;&lt;EM&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Please verify your product model and serial number to ensure they were entered correctly.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/EM&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;However, it's the only serial number available on the product box, on the back of the printer and within the printer settings on the printer screen interface. &lt;U&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;This makes absolutely no sense.&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P class=""&gt;Canon team - please help me resolve this asap.&lt;/P&gt;
