      <title>PIXMA TR8620a Firmware update: Does it take all day?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have a Pixma Tr8602A that is about 3yrs old. During all that time, I never had any problem nor any type of Canon Tech communication. Today, I was working on a report which I had sent to the printer 2x ( I can see them in Queue). When I looked at the screen, there was a message there telling me there was a new firmware update----Update or not??. So I chose to download it. THAT was over an hour ago. I never interrupt any running programs on my computers and am hesitate to do so with the printer but I can not sit here all day either. Suggestions?? The printer is on the same network as my computers, TVS, etc. No problems with any of them???&lt;/P&gt;
