topic PIXMA G3270 printing black very faint and everything else is very orange in Desktop Inkjet Printers

I'm on a Mac. I've tried printing photos from the Photos app, from Preview, and from Photoshop. The image comes out orange and faded. When I print a normal Word doc it comes out okay but still a little faded. I always set the print quality to "best." I've tried printing on pro luster paper for photos, regular copier paper, and Kodac and Canon matte photo paper. I've used the correct settings for each one each time.

I've run the nozzle check test pattern and the colors come out looking okay-ish(?) but I can't really tell since how am I supposed to know what it's supposed to look like? The black is pretty faded.

I just bought this thing and I just filled the tanks, but it's already giving me a warning that the "Mc" color (teal?) is almost empty, which I know isn't true because I can see in the windows that all the colors are full, meaning it isn't leaking out or something.

I have a feeling the system thinks that tank is empty and isn't using it?

I bought this on Amazon and if I don't get this resolved quickly I'm returning it.

Thanks. Both are A. I just discovered that when I print on plain paper the colors are okay.
