usually print head failure, carriage jam, or main-board fault. Quick checklist:

Turn off, unplug 10s, plug in and power on.
Open cover, check for paper jams, stuck bits, or foreign objects; gently move carriage by hand (power off) to confirm it moves freely.
Reseat cartridges and ensure protective tape is removed.
If error persists, run a print-head cleaning cycle from printer settings (if printer responds).
