Pixma MG7520

Mac OS 15.6

The printer is working without issue but the scanner is no longer identified/accessible. Issues began after latest OS upgrade where scanner error would not save the scanned file claiming network or connection error. Downloaded all available drivers and reinstalled although the firmware available on Canon came up as 4.01 while my current appears as 4.03?

Canon Quick View menu shows nothing under Scan and there is no Scan utility showing in latest download installs. Image Capture will offer an Overview but the Scan option is not showing as available.

Hi,

This model scanner has been retired and is not compatible with your current operating system.

Since the printer is not compatible, you would qualify for the Canon Upgrade program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This program allows you the opportunity to purchase a replacement product discounted from the list price. Free ground shipping is included with your purchase.

You can take advantage of this offer by calling the Canon Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Mon-Sat, 9 AM to 9pm EST excluding holidays.

Did this answer your question? Please click the Accept as Solution button so that others may find the answer as well.

It is a paid product, but VueScan by Hamrick Software might be able to allow you to continue using your scanner.
