topic What is the maximum thickness of card I can use in a Pixma ix6550? in Desktop Inkjet Printers

I want to do some art printing on thickish card and wonder if this is possible with an ix6550. The Canon site says sheet feeder max is 300 but I know some printers can print thick card via the back. Does the ix6550 have this option? It is very difficult for me to see at the moment.

Jo

According to the user manual for a Canon Pixma iX6550:

"Paper Weight
17 to 28 lb / 64 to 105 g/m2 (except for Canon genuine paper)

Do not use heavier or lighter paper (except for Canon genuine paper), as it could jam in the printer."

The paper tray limit varies with what paper you are using.
