PIXMA G7020 - Won't print from front tray from computer

Canon 7020 mega tank printer. Was working fine for a while. It is on my network when I try to print from my windows 11 PC it tries to use the single sheet rear area to print and says load paper still does not print. Checked for a paper jam. It’s not a paper jam. Will not try to print from the front tray which is fully stocked with paper. Tried to trouble shoot using windows thinks the printer is working fine. When I print from my phone it prints from the front tray fine. Any ideas why printer does not print from the front tray?

Hi Tazerrr,

Please try changing the settings of the rear feed of your PIXMA G7020 to a size other than letter. To do ths, please follow these steps:

1. Please press the wrench and screwdriver button on your printer one time.

2. Press the right arrow 3 times to select Feed settings and press OK.

3. Press OK on Save paper info.

4. Press OK on Rear tray.

5. Press OK again.

6. Use the left or right arrows to select A4 and press OK two times.

Attempt to print once set.

The rear-tray feed-slot cover was confusing us, but the following video (click here) helped us ID it and solve the issue.
