      <title>Canon Plan  - Online status not updating?</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;So I have a:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;PIXMA TS6420a Wireless All-in-One Printer Black&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;that I bought last year.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;with the $3.99 a month "Print plan" where they need your printer online always to ship your ink cartridges when the printer sees it's low. A few problems I am having with this:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;1. The printer doesn't stay on forever. It will eventually shut itself off. Even when it's on the white light stays on, so leaving it on 24/7 is kind of annoying.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;2. When I go to "My Canon" and check on my subscriptions, it shows a big red banner that says:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"&lt;SPAN&gt;Your printer is disconnected from the internet. Please connect your printer to the internet so that we can continue to monitor your pages printed and ink cartridge levels. This will allow us to send you ink when it's running low.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;Pages Printed and Ink Levels below are as of the last reading.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;Last device communication received on 03/01/2025 12:12"&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;So, my printer has been on until it shuts itself off since&amp;nbsp; 03/01/2025. Since I don't use it every day, remembering to turn it on everyday is annoying and the website still doesn't update the date? the printer IS connected to my current working Wi-fi connection, so I am not sure what the problem is.&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;3. If the printer can't see the updated status, how am I supposed to get my new ink cartridges? i've only gotten the black because apparently I have some color still left. Even so, canon makes this super complicated. It's not expensive, but I don't want to play games with my printer just so my subscription works correctly...&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/DIV&gt;&lt;DIV class=""&gt;any help or tips? thanks.&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;question for you, does the Print plan include ink or do they still bill you for ink and the printer just notifies them?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
