PIXMA TS3722 cuts off letters at beginning of each line of text

PIXMA TS3722 - purchased Nov 2024 Operating system HP Windows 8(desktop computer

I really love my Canon TS3722 printer. I have only one problem. When I print, the first couple of letters at the beginning of each line of text does not print. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you.
