Very first question is: What type of CPU does the new computer have? Intel? AMD? ARM?

ARM processor-equipped computers are an increasingly big problem, as seen on this forum. Canon is not coming out with ARM-compatible printer drivers for al their models. The Intel/AMD drivers do not work on AMD computers.

If your computer is an Intel/AMD, then please provide information about exactly what is happening when you try installing your printer. IN DETAIL. And what is the procedure you are using?
