    <description>&lt;P&gt;I've also had similar issues with my TS7450. One Black ink cartridge which was not original was causing the problem.&lt;BR /&gt;In my case, replacing the cartridge by an original one solved the problem, though.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Would be great if you could post an update after you call with support.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>PIXMA TR8620a - doesn't recognize new cartridges</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I have had this printer for a little over 2 years.&amp;nbsp; It now does not recognize any new ink cartridge when I insert it.&amp;nbsp; I bought the same ones from Amazon I have previously purchased.&amp;nbsp; It was a complete set, so I tried every color and the printer did not recognize any of them.&amp;nbsp; I returned them to Amazon thinking they were defective and bought another set that claimed to be true Canon cartridges.&amp;nbsp; Those also were not recognized.&amp;nbsp; I even tried buying another one from Office Depot and got the same result.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I have tried everything I can find suggested on the internet - restarting, clearing memory, firmware update, cleaning contacts and nothing has worked.&amp;nbsp; Do I have to junk a 2-year old printer?&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I would like to know as well.&amp;nbsp; A similar thing just happened to me and I have a bunch of printing to do.&amp;nbsp; The printer recognizes the cartridge (no warnings, no low ink) but it won't print that color (cyan).&amp;nbsp; Right after it was installed, I got a warning for no ink in a different color.&amp;nbsp; I changed it and it printed that color (yellw) just fine but no cyan.&amp;nbsp; I needed ink anyway so ordered a 3x supply as usual and put in the newest cyan ... no warnings but it still doesn't print cyan.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This is the second Pixma printer I've had in 5 years.&amp;nbsp; My first one lasted well over 10 years without even a paper jam.&amp;nbsp; I'll be calling Canon support as suggested in the morning.&amp;nbsp; I don't have time for this.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Are they Canon cartridges or third party?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Have you run a nozzle check?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Look closely at the top of the cartridge and be sure all the wrapping is removed.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
