PIXMA TR4720 - Printing Blank Pages

our printer is connected to our computer via wifi. . we can test print a page and all is ok. when we attempt to print a file, the printer seems to work but nothing appears on the paper. printer makes all the right noises and movements but when job is finished, there is nothing on the paper.

TR4700 series > Maintenance > If Printing Is Faint or Uneven > Maintenance Procedure
