PIXMA iP8720 Blinking Error Code, Computer Cannot See Error

Hello, I've had this printer for about 7 years now and recently it seems to be having some issues. A few times it would say there were paper jams when there weren't any, it would then also say an ink cartridge is not full when it was, and now it's blinking and error code but my computer cannot see what the code is. It additionally cannot see the ink levels.

I took the print head apart and cleaned everything, tried new ink cartridges and I also cleaned the film strip behind the printer head but that didn't work. I tried to perform a factory reset per what I'm seeing on google but that doesn't seem to be working either.

Any ideas what the issues are or how I could fix it?

With your iP8720 powered on, does the error light blink?

If it does, does the power light blink as well?

How many times ?

Hello,

Yes the error light blinks when the printer is on. No the power light does not also blink with the error light.

I also have a canon IP8720 with orange error light and the screen said B200 error. I have changed out the printer head, all the inks but still gave me the same orange error light with B200 error. What can I do ?
