PIXMA G620 - does not recognize 4x6 Glossy Paper

I have a PIXMA G620 and am using it for photo prints.

So far, it works well when I load paper sizes 8" x 10" and 5" x 7" - after loading the paper in the rear tray, I will register the corresponding paper size on the printer. When printing from Mac, I will then select the same paper size and indicate "Borderless". The printer prompts me with a message and allows me to choose "Print on set paper", which will then work well; the outputs are borderless photo prints.

The problem comes when I load paper size of 4" x 6". I follow the same process, but the printer does not provide the "Print on set paper" option. I have tried various ways to circumvent it, and the best way so far is to indicate on the laptop print setting that the paper size is 4" x 6" without borderless - this is the only way it allows me to proceed to "Print on set paper". However with this method, I end up with white borders on my 4R photo prints.

Is there some set up which I have done wrongly? How can I print 4R photos without borders?

Please try printing your image using Easy-PhotoPrint Editor. If you do not have that installed, it is available for download here:

Canon Support - PIXMA G620 - Software & Drivers

Once on that page, click on Software & Drivers.

Click the Download button to the right of Easy-PhotoPrint Editor to download and then install that application on your Mac.
