    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello Barb4803.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Please try to describe the plastic part that you are referring to.&amp;nbsp; Also, tell us where this part was located.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The printer has Color and Black start buttons.&amp;nbsp; These have the green (color) and black square symbols and are used for black or color copying.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The unit does not have a scan button on the printer itself.&amp;nbsp; Scans would have to be started from your computer using our IJ Scan Utility program.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If immediate assistance is needed, feel free to call us at 1-800-OKCANON.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Two questions....it came with a strange looking white plastic "thing"...we cannot tell where it goes.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Also where is the "copy" and "scan" buttons?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
