      <title>PIXMA MX492 - no longer scans on Windows 11 with IJ Scan Utility</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I searched but found nothing current for this issue so I apologize if this has been answered and I missed it.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I had no problems the last time I scanned a couple weeks ago.&amp;nbsp; I had shut all down when I went out of town recently and when I retired and brought all back to life it would not scan.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The Pixma MX492 is plugged in and turned on.&amp;nbsp; I'm not using Wi-Fi since it's right next to my computer.&amp;nbsp; It is connected to the computer - HP Desktop with Windows 11 Home version.&amp;nbsp; I put the document on the glass and closed the lid.&amp;nbsp; I opened the IJ Scan Utility and clicked on Document and nothing happened.&amp;nbsp; After a short time an error message popped up.&amp;nbsp; Code: 5,157,69.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I've tried updating drivers but nothing is working.&amp;nbsp; It isn't even scanning when I use the buttons on the printer/scanner.&amp;nbsp; I'm hoping someone here can help me fix this.&amp;nbsp; Thank you.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Do you have ability to print? If so and you are still having issues scanning, try this.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Go to Microsoft Store and download the Microsoft Scan app and try that.       <description>&lt;P&gt;Yes, it's been printing fine.&amp;nbsp; Thank you so much for this tip!&amp;nbsp; I downloaded and right away was able to scan.&amp;nbsp; Now that I found where to set it to save as pdf and set where to save it I'm good to go.&amp;nbsp; Thanks again.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
