&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Let's try scanning with the scanning program that is bundled with the driver of your PIXMA TS3122:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;1.&amp;nbsp; Please click on the Windows button at the bottom of your computer's screen.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;2.&amp;nbsp; In the menu that appears, click on the Canon Utilities folder.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;3.&amp;nbsp; Click on the IJ Scan Utility and open that application.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;4.&amp;nbsp; Once open, please click the Scangear button and then click Preview.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;Are you able to scan using the IJ Scan Utility?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;If not, what error appears when you attempt to scan using the IJ Scan Utility?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>PIXMA TS3122 Scanner not working</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The scanner function suddenly stopped working.&amp;nbsp; I am not getting an error message it just goes right to the part where the scan starts and flashes briefly.&amp;nbsp; I have the scanner/printer connected with USB to an EliteOne 705 HP computer running Windows 10.&amp;nbsp; It has worked great previously.&amp;nbsp; I reinstalled the&amp;nbsp;TS3100 series Full Driver &amp;amp; Software Package.&amp;nbsp; It continues to print just fine.&amp;nbsp; It also did the printer head alignment including the part where it scans what it printed.&amp;nbsp; I've tried two different ways to scan, print.net software as well as Windows Scan app.&amp;nbsp; In the Scan app I briefly see a screen that says, "scanning" and shows the blue progress indicator, but nothing happens.&amp;nbsp; Both programs recognize the scanner.&amp;nbsp; I have plugged and unplugged until I am blue in the face.&amp;nbsp; I also tried resetting to factory settings by pressing 11 on the tools menu.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you for your help. I use the scanner daily.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I discovered that the scanner may not work with the ink levels low.&amp;nbsp; Mine are.&amp;nbsp; I read to&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;disable the ink detection system with the ink cartridges or tanks installed by pressing the Stop button on the printer for at least five (5) seconds and then releasing it.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;I tried this and it didn't work.&amp;nbsp; I don't want to buy new ink when that may not fix the problem.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
