&lt;P&gt;The &lt;A href="https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/ErrorCode/MX920%20series/EN/ERR/1403.html?ref=1403#wp1412584" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;1403 error&lt;/A&gt; is caused by an issue with the printhead or the print carriage.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Please try reseating the printhead of your PIXMA MX922 by following the steps on this page:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/s/article/ART143853" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;Reseat or Replace the Print Head on a PIXMA MX722, MX922 - Canon Knowledgebase&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If the error persists, your PIXMA MX922 would require service.&amp;nbsp; You are eligible for Canon's Upgrade Program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service, or for some reason are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This option allows you a one-time opportunity to purchase a replacement product, discounted from the list price.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you would like to take part in this option, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Monday through Saturday, 9am to 9pm.       <title>PIXMA MX922 - Code 1403</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi everyone,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I have installed new ink cartridges in my MX922 printer and I am receiving a notice: "Support Code 1403" and "The type of print head is incorrect. Install the correct print head."&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I've had this printer for over 6 years and have replaced many ink cartridges, all Canon branded. I have removed and re-installed all 5 ink cartridges several times but the message above is constant.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Is there something else I need to do or does this mean the printer is now done for some particular reason? I will be a little miffed the printer needs to be replaced as I have spent $90+ on a new set of ink cartridges!&amp;nbsp; I love this printer and have never had any issues with it.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Any help will be much appreciated, whether it is good or bad news. Thank you.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
