PIXMA MG3620 - yellow flashing lights

I put 2 new cartridges in my canon mg3620 printer and the hazard lights along with the black and color cartridge lights blink in unison 5x.

I know I have the right cartridges and have inserted it correctly because if I take one cartridge out, the light stops blinking for the remaining cartridge still inserted and ONLY blinks for the cartridge I removed. Hence, the flashing lights blinks when BOTH cartridges are inserted but recognized a cartridge if its inserted by itself.

I've tried factory reset by unplugging and pressing the power button 5x and nothing changed.

Please advise.
