MG2922 error code (21 flashes of alarm lamp)

Hey, I recently purchased a MG 2922 Pixma printer. During setup, I noticed that the error and power button were flashing intermittently. I looked in the manual and could not find the error code message in there. The error code button flashes 21 times each rotation. Has anyone had anything similar?
