topic Ghosting on PIXMA TR7020a in Desktop Inkjet Printers

I've tried to print a pdf (actually several different pdf's) on Acrobat, Word, LibreOffice and the results are all the same. Randomly there is heavily ghosted printing. Within forms are ghosted and the entered information is not then out will come a page or two all clear and concise as it should be. I've tried almost everything through the programs used to write what I am trying to print. The only thing that I have not done is to replace the ink cartridges.

Suggestions?

Thanks!
