PIXMA MX432 ADF Not Detecting Paper

The ADF top scanner won't recognize there is a paper inserted. I've tried searching it but haven't found any solutions.

Is there a way to fix the switch that detects the paper.

Greetings,

Canned air and Q-Tips moistened with alcohol can sometimes help. It really depends on whether or not the sensor is just dirty or has actually failed. The printer itself is a little over 13 years old now, so it's no longer serviced by Canon.

I'll try that. But I think you might be right that the sensor is actually damaged.
