When my Canon G7000 finishes printing a document, it doesn't automatically delete it from the print queue. Once it printed the document twice. When I want to print multiple documents, I have to manually delete each one before the next one will print.

I have used the Windows 10 control panel for the Printer Properties to make sure that the Keep Printed Documents box is unchecked (it is) but that has not caused the printer to delete completed documents.

What else should I do?

Greetings,

I never met anyone who uses the Print History option. I realize this is not your intention either.

Running Windows 10.

The behavior you are describing sounds like a connectivity issue.

How is the printer connected and to what?

I am having this same issue and haven't been able to get support. Any suggestions on how to resolve? Windows 11. Wifi connection and does not seem to have connection issues as documents are sent to printer well.

Hi!

To have a better understanding of your issue, please let everyone know the specific model of the printer you have. This will be on the top or front of your printer!

If this is a time-sensitive matter, please check out your other support options HERE.

Thanks!

Never found a solution. Sometimes it works and I can print document after document. Then it stops all of a sudden. The best thing is to unplug the printer and restart the computer, which is not a solution. I cannot get support from Canon and obviously they don't check these chats either. The rest of the printer is good. I won't buy another Canon though due to lack of support.
