MG2522: Cant get Alarm light on printer to go off

I have a Canon Pixma MG2522 All in One Printer. I just refilled the ink cartridges myself and reinstalled them like I was supposed to. When I go to print, a support code pops up on my computer screen pops up. The Support Code is 1687 and says ink cartridge not recognized. I dont know what else to do. Someone please help me figure this out.
