PIXMA G7020 smearing black ink on glossy photo paper

I've cleaned manually and did deep cleaning. The pattern check works fine, but when printing onto glossy photo paper, the black ink smears badly. Any help?

So that the Community can help you better, we need to know exactly which Canon printer model you're using within the PIXMA G7000 series. The model number should appear on the front of the printer at the upper right, just above the yellow ink tank window. That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!

We don't have a straight, G7000, but there are printers in that series, so it'll be G70X0 with the X being a different number. If you look directly on the printer, not the computer or the box, it will say what that number it!

Once logged in, click on your PIXMA G7020 and then click on the Product Support button. When that page loads, click on either the Phone Support button or the Chat Support button to access support. A Technical Support Representative can determine the cause of the issue and resolve it or provide you with your available service options.

Well, I called into customer support. The gentleman helped me all that had the knowledge to do, but it was of no help. We went through several cleaning options, and it still smears. Warranty apparently has run out, so I guess that I'm stuck with a bad printer.
