    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Dmer445,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The 1485 error is caused by the printer not detecting the ink cartridge.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Please remove the ink cartridges from your TR4720.&amp;nbsp; Looking at the labels, are you using genuine Canon ink cartridges?&amp;nbsp; If you are using Canon ink cartridges, please make sure they are compatible.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;These ink cartridges are compatbile with your PIXMA TR4720:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;PG-275 black&lt;BR /&gt;CL-276 color&lt;BR /&gt;PG-275XL black&lt;BR /&gt;CL-276XL color&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you are using compatible ink cartridges, please look at the bottom and make sure that the orange tape has been removed and then reinsert them into your printer.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If the error returns, please use a different ink cartridges.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>Pixma TR4720 Error 1485 with new Canon cartridge</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I recently put a new Canon color cartridge into the printer and I'm receiving the 1485 error code. The cartridge is in there correctly. I performed the reset by unplugging the printer and pressing the Start button 5 times. What else can I do to fix this?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
