G6720 printer - png images skewed but pdf are not

I have been trying to scan a line drawing. I am scanning from the glass, with corners of the letter-sized paper set in in the corner. If I scan as a picture the image is skewed. If scanned as a pdf it come out straight. I did not move or adjust the original between scans.

So that the Community can help you better, could you please double-check your printer's model number? We're unable to find a printer by that name made by any Canon division. That, and any other details you'd like to give will help the Community better understand your issue!
