Reset Ink Counter on Pixma MG3222

My Church's Pixma MG3222 had an E08 code. I cleaned the ink absorber pads but cannot find how to reset the ink counter. I am in hopes that someone can give me advice on this issue and that we are not victims of planned obsolescence. Thanks in advance for any help on this issue,
