    <description>&lt;P&gt;Thank you.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The knowlege base article does not cover the process for setting up an internet connection to a new G6020. It only addresses the process for adding the printer to an ARM-based computer with a wireless connection &lt;STRONG&gt;when the printer is ALREADY on the network&lt;/STRONG&gt;. I personally do not need support, but I would like to know the steps for connecting a new printer to the wireless network &lt;STRONG&gt;if a customer's only available device is an ARM-based computer.&lt;/STRONG&gt; In that case, the customer would not be able to run the setup software at all. Would I be correct in assuming that the internet connection to the printer would have to be made from the printer? The setup guide does not cover that special case.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <title>ARM Support for PIXMA G6020 and its software</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;We have two laptop computers in our household. One is running Intel 64-bit Windows OS, and the other is running Windows ARM. I recently set up a new G6020 printer using the Intel-based device. Setup went smoothly, and I was able to add the printer and print to it on the Windows ARM-based device, However, the ARM device cannot install or use Canon utilities, including Canon Easy PhotoPrint Editor. In fact, the setup software does not run on ARM, neither from &lt;A href="https://ij.start.canon" target="_blank" rel="noopener"&gt;https://ij.start.canon&lt;/A&gt; nor the installation CD.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I am curious if it is even possible to set up a PIXMA printer if someone's only device is ARM-based. Does anyone know? If so, the internet connection to the printer would have to be set up from the printer.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;It is worth noting that it will take time for all vendors, including Canon, to develop support for ARM. The story (in the news, anyway) is that the architecture was deliberately rushed to the market before vendors had had adequate time to support it, and there was a valid business reason for the rush (Copilot, AI integration).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
