I previously had a Canon TS8030 I purchased in Japan that worked great until about a year ago. Now all my Windows computers print super slow to it, but my MacOS laptops and iPhones print fine (quickly). I tried everything including deleting all drivers and Canon software, then re-installing (yes with reboots in between) but it didn't fix the issue. Before you ask the other obvious fixes as well, yes, I checked the printer settings and Windows default settings to make sure defaults were Letter, plain paper, and standard print mode. I even set to Economy and it was barely any better. I decided to buy a new Pixma G6020 because the TS8030 uses too much ink anyway, and I've been with Canon for so many years, and I have the same problem with the G6020. WiFi is not the issue because the LAN Settings Properties page shows Signal Quality of 82% and Link Quality of 92%. Just to make sure, I did a factory reset, and connected by CAT-6 cable from the printer directly to my home WiFi router and the same results occurred. Just to rule out my PC, I did a speed test and I'm getting over 600 Mbps from my ISP. Network is not the issue, so this must be driver related. On two different PC's running WIN11 23H2, same symptoms. I've cleanly uninstalled/reinstalled drivers. This is driving me crazy. I even tried installing a new WIN11 VM in Hyper-V and bridging the network adapter directly to the VM and same issue. I really think this is buggy drivers and am ready to change printer brands. I've Googled this issue and many people have had the same issues over the years.
