PIXMA MX870: Problem with ink, PGBK cartridge flashing red lights

Pixma MC870 series

I replaced all my ink. When I tried to print I received a reply I could fax. I opened the printer and saw that ink 220 PGBK cartridge was flashing red lights. I took the cartridge out and reinserted but continued to have the same problem. What do I need to do to fix the problem?
