    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi Jellamichelle,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The inks that you are using are not compatible with your PIXMA MX922.&amp;nbsp; This is the cause of the issue you are experiencing.&amp;nbsp; The PG-270 and CL-271 inks are not compatbile.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The PIXMA MX922 is compatible with:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;CLI-251M magenta&lt;BR /&gt;CLI-251BK black&lt;BR /&gt;CLI-251Y yellow&lt;BR /&gt;PGI-250BK black&lt;BR /&gt;CLI-251C cyan&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The 251 XL inks are compatible as well.&lt;/P&gt;

      <title>PIXMA MX922 won't recognize legit canon ink cartridges</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I bought all brand new cartridges from target and installed them exactly like I had the previous ones that worked fine until the ink ran out. Those were also purchased from target. But these new ones once installed have no red light and the printer gives am error code and said the all of the printer cartridges are not detected.&amp;nbsp; So I restarted the printer.&amp;nbsp; Same issue.&amp;nbsp; I reset the printers Internal memory.&amp;nbsp; Same issue. I cleaned the contacts and made sure the cartridges were not damaged and that nothing was blocking the ink port. Still same issue. So I tried holding the stop button for 10 seconds to override the printers ability to check the ink levels. Nothing happened and i still have the same issue. Then I tried turning my printer off and then unplugging it for 10 min and then replug it in and tried reinstalling the cartridges. Same issue. So i finally tried just putting the old cartridges back in and those still are recognized fine.&amp;nbsp; This is maddening! Please help!&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Please insert the new ink tanks into your PIXMA MX922.&amp;nbsp; With them installed, please take a photo of the ink tanks installed, making sure that the whole label is visible on each ink tank.&amp;nbsp; Please attach that image to your reply of this message.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;This is the best i can do. I am not able to get a pic of them with the whole label showing while they are installed because the scanning bed is in the way. And for some reason I am not able to add any additional pictures.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

So I wasted $70 buying cartridges that look identical to the ones my printer uses and for perfectly in my printer,&amp;nbsp; but are not compatible.&amp;nbsp; They have been opened so they can't be returned or exchanged. So I'm out $70? That really stinks!&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
