Cannot see the ink level - PIXMA MG3020

Hello,
in my Pixma G3020 printer the ink tanks are so dark that it has always been impossible to see the ink levels since I bought the printer.
How can I view the ink levels on my computer instead?

Information regarding checking the ink levels of your PIXMA G3020 series printer can be viewed using this link to the manual:

G3020 series > Handling Paper, Originals, Ink Tanks, etc. > Refilling Ink Tanks > Checking Ink Level

It is recommended that your printer is placed in a well lit area. If that is not possible, a flashlight may be necessary.

Hello Patrik,
as I said above, it's impossible to see the ink level (either by illuminating the printer from the front or by illuminating the top of the tanks). The material is not transparent, but rather dark brown.
