PIXMX MX922 How to Wash Print Head

I’ve read that I can remove the print head of a Canon MX922 printer and wash it in a windex/warm water solution. Is this correct or will it damage the head?

Hi Krm0258,

Performing anything other than printhead cleanings or printhead deep cleanings available through the menus on your PIXMA MX922 or from within the printer driver could damage the printhead. Therefore it is not recommended that the printhead is soaked in any solution.
