    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;kjrasmussen,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;First, please print a test page from your G4210.&amp;nbsp; To do this, please load plain paper and follow these steps:&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1.&amp;nbsp; Please press the wrench and screwdriver button on your G4210 one time.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2.&amp;nbsp; Use the right arrow button to select Maintenance and press OK.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;3.&amp;nbsp; Press OK on Nozzle check.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Did |BK| print at the top of the page?&lt;BR /&gt;Did a black grid print to the right of it?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Below that, did 2 blue, 2 pink and 2 yellow bars print?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;You can also view an example of the test page in the manual, here:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;A href="https://ij.manual.canon/ij/webmanual/Manual/All/G4000%20series/EN/UG/bg-maintenance1300.html" target="_self"&gt;G4000 series &amp;gt; Maintenance &amp;gt; If Printing Is Faint or Uneven &amp;gt; Examining the Nozzle Check Pattern&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If your test page does not look like the example, please perform 2 or 3 deep printhead cleanings.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;To perform this, please follow these steps:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1.&amp;nbsp; Please press the wrench and screwdriver button on your G4210 one time.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2.&amp;nbsp; Use the right arrow button to select Maintenance and press OK.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;3.&amp;nbsp; Use the right arrow button to select Deep cleaning and then press OK.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Once complete, please print another Nozzle check.&amp;nbsp; If the test page still does not print correctly, please perform an System Cleaning.&amp;nbsp; To do this, please follow these steps:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1.&amp;nbsp; Please press the wrench and screwdriver button on your G4210 one time.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2.&amp;nbsp; Press the right arrow button 3 times to select Maintenance and press OK.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;3.&amp;nbsp; Repeatedly press the right arrow button to select Ink Flush and then press the OK button.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;4.&amp;nbsp; Press OK button on the message that appears.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;5.&amp;nbsp; Use the left arrow to select Yes and then press OK button.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;6.&amp;nbsp; Use the left arrow again to select Yes and then press OK button.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Once complete, please print another test page.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Does your test page print correctly?&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I've had such a good experience with my Pixma G4210 until now - when printing from Adobe, I get faded lines in every document. When printing from Preview, I get good quality. I've tried all of the maintenance tools many times. I use Canon ink. Suggestions? Thanks.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
