Hi KrakenDude,

To resolve the printing issue you are experiencing, please perform an ink flush.

To do this, please follow these steps:

1. Please press the wrench and screwdriver button on your G6020 one time.

2. Repeatedly press the right arrow button to select Maintenance and press OK.

3. Press the right arrow button to select Ink Flush and then press the OK button.

4. Choose All Colors and press OK.

5. Check the displayed message and press the OK button.

6. Use the left arrow to select Yes and then press the OK button.

7. Use the left arrow again to select Yes and press OK.

More information regarding performing an ink flush can be viewed in the manual here:

PIXMA G6020 super faded colors and inconsistent printing

My G6020 printer is printing very faded and the black is very inconsistent. I have run the cleaning and deep cleaning and the Nozzle Test is inconsistent. First the colors are faded and BK is missing significant portions. After cleaning the colors remain faded, but the print consistency of the BK is nearly perfect. 5 minutes later the BK is missing nearly half once again. I have run the deep cleaning multiple times and have manually cleaned the print head. I ordered new print heads from Amazon because the Canon store has none in stock and despite multiple buyers saying it is compatible, my printer always errors out saying it cannot read the print heads. It is extremely frustrating how little troubleshooting information is on your website and that replacement print heads are not available.
