&lt;P&gt;The E 5 9 error is an indication that there is a paper mismatch.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Are you using letter sized (8.5" x 11") paper?&amp;nbsp; If so, please set LTR on your printer.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The button to the left of OK is the Paper button.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="img1.jpg" style="width: 105px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/59995i91F1C8A69E70D08C/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="img1.jpg" alt="img1.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Repeatedly press the Paper button until LTR appears on your printer's display.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Once set,&amp;nbsp;then press OK.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="img3.jpg" style="width: 131px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.usa.canon.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/59997i64D2E5F8174EF1AB/image-size/large?v=v2&amp;amp;px=999" role="button" title="img3.jpg" alt="img3.jpg" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;After setting LTR on your printer, please attempt to print with your PIXMA TS3522.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If the error persists, please let us know the size and type of paper you are attempting to print with.&amp;nbsp; I ask because the PIXMA TS3522 does not support printing on photo paper that is letter size.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The using photo paper, the following sizes are supported:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;KG&lt;BR /&gt;4"x6" / 10x15cm&lt;BR /&gt;5"x7" / 13x18cm&lt;BR /&gt;5"x5" / 13x13cm&lt;/P&gt;
